UPPSC Block Education Officer (BEO) Syllabus

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online application for Block Education Officer Examination 2019. The Pattern and Syllabus for UPPSC BEO exam are as follows:

UPPSC BEO Syllabus 2020: Syllabus for UPPSC BEO Preliminary Exam

For the selection of Uttar Pradesh Block Education Officer (BEO), there will be one objective type paper for a duration of two hours. The question paper will contain 120 questions with 300 marks.

UPPSC BEO Syllabus for Mains Examination: UPPSC BEO Mains Exam Pattern

In the Main examination which will be descriptive type (written), there will be two compulsory papers i.e. General Studies and General Hindi and Essay of 3-3 hours with 200-200 marks. The Mains (Written) examination will be a total of 400 marks. The question paper and mark's division for the composition of General Study Paper is as under:

There will be a total of 40 questions. All the 40 questions will be mandatory which will be divided into three sections A, B, C.

Section A: There will be 10 questions for a general answer with a word limit of 125 words and each question will be for 10 marks.

Section B: There will be 10 questions for a short answer with a word limit of 50 words and each question will be for 6 marks.

Section C: There will be 20 questions for very short answer with a word limit of 25 words and each question will be for 2 marks.

सामान्य हिंदी एवं निबन्ध लेखन (परम्परागत)

खण्ड एक: सामान्य हिंदी, कुल अंक 100

अपठित गद्यांश का संक्षेपण एवं उससे सम्बंधित प्रश्नों का उत्तर, गद्यांश में रेखांकित अंशो की व्याख्या एवं उसका उपयुक्त शीर्षक

शासकीय एवं अर्धशासकीय पत्र लेखन, कार्यालय आदेश/ ज्ञापन, अधिसूचना, प्रेस विज्ञप्ति और परिपत्र लेखन

वाक्यों का अनुवाद ( हिंदी से अंग्रेजी एवं अंग्रेजी से हिंदी )

पर्यायवाची शब्द, विलोम शब्द, अनेकार्थी शब्द, तद्भव एवं तत्सम, क्षेत्रीय एवं विदेशी शब्द भंडार, वर्तनी, अर्थबोध, शब्द-रूप, संधि, समास, क्रियाएं, हिंदी वर्णमाला, विराम चिन्ह, वाक्य रचना, शब्द रचना, अर्थ, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियाँ, मुख्य बोलियाँ ( उत्तर प्रदेश ) तथा हिंदी भाषा के प्रयोग में होने वाली अशुद्धियां

खण्ड द्वितीय : हिंदी निबंध लेखन, कुल अंक 100

इसके अंतर्गत दो उपखंड होंगे एवं प्रत्येक उपखंड से एक- एक निबन्ध लिखने होंगे जिसकी विस्तार शब्द सीमा 700 शब्द होगी निबंध के लिए निम्नलिखित क्षेत्र होंगे
