If you going to learn mathematics it is very important to learn Number System first :

Types of Numbers:

1. Natural Numbers:- All the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,...etc. are Natural Numbers. By these numbers we perform counting.

2. Whole Numbers:- In the set of Natural Numbers if include 0 (Zero) it will be set of Whole Number. It means: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.....are whole numbers. It is pertinent to mention here that 0 (Zero) is not a Natural Number.

3. Even Numbers :- Natural Numbers which are divisible by 2, are Even Numbers. Example: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc.

4. Odd Numbers :- Natural Numbers which are not divisible by 2, are Odd Numbers. Example: 1, 3, 5, 7 etc.

5. Prime Numbers :- Natural Numbers which are not divisible by any other numbers except from 1 and self, are called prime numbers. Example: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11 etc.

6. Composite Numbers:- Natural Numbers which are also divisible by any other numbers except from 1 and self, are called composite numbers. Example: 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 etc.

7. Integers:- Integers are set of whole numbers and natural numbers which includes negative values, positive values and zero also. Example: ......-2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3....etc. An integer can be positive, negative or Zero. Example: -2, 4, 6, 595 are integers.
